Cotton Candy Frappuccino (like Starbucks)
If you’re a Cotton Candy lover like me, you may already know that you can order a Cotton Candy Frappuccino from Starbucks’ secret menu. Simply ask for a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with 2 pumps of raspberry syrup. It tastes just like cotton candy! Cotton Candy has got to be one of the best flavors of childhood. Who says we should give that up as adults?
You can save yourself some cash and some calories by creating this same indulgent beverage right in your own kitchen. It only takes a few ingredients and a blender. Here’s how you make a Cotton Candy Frappuccino.
Cotton Candy Frappuccino like Starbucks
Ingredients
Raspberry Syrup:
1/2 cup Seedless Raspberry All Fruit Spread
1/4 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Water
1 cup Ice, crushed
1/2 cup Milk
2 scoops Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
3 tbsp Raspberry Syrup
1/4 tsp Vanilla
Whipped Cream (for topping)
The secret to creating your Cotton Candy Frappuccino is, as they say…in the sauce.
Combine Seedless Raspberry All Fruit Spread, sugar, and water in small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Then remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
Put ice, milk, vanilla, and ice cream in blender.
Add raspberry syrup (and 1 drop of red food coloring if you’d like a pinker color). Blend for 20 seconds or until you reach desired consistency.
Pour into a cold, tall glass and top with whipped topping. Enjoy!
Make Ahead Raspberry Syrup
Make a larger batch of the Raspberry Syrup and store in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
Then you can quickly whip up a Cotton Candy Frappuccino anytime! It’s great for parties, too!
Make a Lighter Version
You can cut a few calories by substituting an artificial sweetener like Stevia in the place of sugar, or select light whipped topping. Also try the recipe using skim milk or almond milk.
