There’s just something about eating food on a stick that makes it more fun. These quick and easy dessert kabobs can be customized with any combination of treats you like. It’s also a great way to sneak some fruit into your family’s desserts.
Not only are these delicious, but assembling these Dessert Kabobs would be a great after school activity for your kids. They can enjoy munching on a few of the treats while preparing dessert for after dinner. Getting your kids involved in cooking at a young age will help them grow to love it while creating lasting memories.

How to Make Quick and Easy Dessert Kabobs
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. This will make for easy cleanup later.
Wash the strawberries and cut off the leaf tops.
Cut Rice Krispies Treats into bite-size pieces.
Assemble treats onto skewers in your desired order. If small children are assisting, cut off the sharp tips of the skewers before assembling.
Place assembled skewers onto the lined baking sheet.
Place the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 second increments, stirring after each time until the chocolate is completely melted.
Carefully transfer the melted chocolate to a Ziplock bag. Work the chocolate down to a bottom corner. Cut a small hole in the bottom corner of the bag and drizzle it over the assembled skewers.

For these dessert kabobs I used donut holes, marshmallows, strawberries, brownie bites, and Rice Krispies Treats. There are so many treats you could use. Here’s a list of treats:

- donut holes (glazed, powdered, or any flavor)

- sliced bananas
- brownie bites
- marshmallows
- strawberries
- Rice Krispies Treats cut into bite sized pieces
- pound cake cut into cubes
- pineapple chunks

- Twinkies cut into thirds
- Swiss Rolls cut into thirds
- mini cinnamon rolls
In addition to chocolate, there are other things you can drizzle on top of your dessert kabobs:
- melted chocolate
- melted white chocolate
- melted candy melts in any color
There are also many toppings you could add before your drizzle hardens such as:
- chopped nuts

- sprinkles
- graham cracker crumbs

- 10 Marshmallows large size
- 5 Brownie Bites
- 2 Rice Krispies Treats cut into bite size pieces

- 2 oz Chocolate almond bark or Chocolate chips
