Kitchen Organization Hacks to End Kitchen Clutter
A few years ago after paying off all our debt, we were finally able to move into a bigger home to better accommodate our large family. I was super excited about the new kitchen! It has at least twice the storage compared to our previous home. I honestly have no idea how we fit all our kitchen items into that small space.
Whether your kitchen is small or large and no matter how many drawers and cabinets you have, there never seems to be enough storage to control kitchen clutter. To help organize and create extra storage, there are several kitchen organization hacks I use. These gadgets are easy to install (many require no tools at all) and can go a long way to conquering your kitchen clutter, too!

3 Tier Wall Mounted Spice Rack
When we painted our kitchen, we noticed one of the upper cabinets didn’t extend all the way to the end of the wall. I thought this would be a great place to add a little extra storage for spices. This Wall Mounted Spice Rack fit perfectly! I added adhesive chalk labels to glass spice jars and arranged them in alphabetical order. Now they are easy to find, and they look nice, too!
3 Tier Expandable Spice Rack Shelf
That one spice rack was not going to be enough to hold all our spices, though. For additional storage, I purchased an Expandable Spice Rack Shelf. This one sits inside your cabinet and the width is adjustable to exactly fit your space.
Lid Organizer Plate Rack
We also needed help organizing our cutting boards and shallow baking pans. Now they are safely stored in this lid organizer and it’s easy to grab the one we need without having to sort through a huge, heavy pile.
Cabinet Door Lid Rack
If I had to choose my favorite kitchen organization gadget, this would be it! The lids to my pots and pans were all over the place. The one I needed always seemed to be way in the back of the cabinets. With this Lid Rack, they are stored by size, and I can grab the one I need easily. This rack can be mounted on a cabinet door or inside the cabinet with three screws (included).
Fry Pan Sorter
If you have multiple fry pans, this fry pan storage rack is amazing! I store my cast iron pan on the bottom to keep it weighted down. Just grab the handle and pull out the exact one you need! I’ve got an extra pot lid stored on the top, too.
Sliding Lid Organizer
This light weight lid organizer is perfect for plastic lids. There are two rows for storage, and it slides in and out along a track. It makes finding the right lid for your storage container so easy.
Bamboo Drawer Organizer
I’m working on upgrading all my existing plastic drawer organizers these bamboo ones. There are so many Bamboo Organizers, and they come in all shapes and sizes. You’ll have no problem configuring them for your space.
Under Shelf Wire Basket
I’ve had these Under Shelf Wire Baskets for years. They are great for storing small containers and lids for kids’ cups. They also work great for containing our coffee travel mug lids. You can slide them in and out for easy access, too.
White Wire Shelf
I have several of these simple wire shelves in my kitchen cabinets. They allow stacking dishes and easy access. Store plates, serving bowls, mixing bowls, coffee cups and more.
White Corner Shelf
Stack even more with this 3 tier corner shelf. I use this to store cereal bowls on the bottom and plates on the top shelves. It also works nicely in to store baking dishes such as a bundt cake pan on bottom and more shallow round cake pans on top.
Under Cabinet Wine Glass Rack
Not only does this rack store stemware up and out of the way, but it also keeps them handy for frequent use. It’s great for air drying them after you wash them, too. There are several versions of under cabinet wine glass racks available. You are sure to find one that fits your space best.
My budget did not allow me to go out and purchase all of these gadgets at once. I suggest starting with a couple of these kitchen organization hacks that will tackle your biggest problem areas. Even one or two of these products can have a big impact on containing your kitchen clutter!
