Chunky Monkey Brownies
This is the kind of dessert you want to bring to a potluck or when friends invite you over for dinner. Instead of serving plain brownies, try this recipe for Chunky Monkey Brownies. The classic combination of chocolate and bananas is a crowd pleaser, and the presentation is gorgeous!
Chunky Monkey Brownies
INGREDIENTS
Brownies:
1/2 cup Butter, melted
1 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
1 tsp Vanilla
1/3 cup Cocoa Powder
1/2 cup Flour
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Baking Powder
Topping:
16 oz Heavy Cream
1 5 oz box Banana Creme Pudding mix
1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
1/4 cup Walnuts, chopped
1/4 cup Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and coat a 8×8″ pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Combine cocoa, flour, salt and baking powder and whisk together.
In a separate bow, combine melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix to combine.
Pour dry ingredients into butter mixture and beat together,
then fold chocolate chips into batter.
Spread batter into prepared pan and bake 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form,
then add powdered sugar and pudding mix and whip until combined.
Spread topping over cooled brownies.
Garnish by sprinkling with walnuts and chocolate chips.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
