For Christmas this year I’m decorating in a
Beachy Coastal Christmas theme!
Who says Christmas has to be all evergreens and red bows?
For my entire life I’ve gone on a beach vacation at least once every single year. I absolutely love the beach! So, this year I decided to bring the beach into my Christmas decor! I selected a color scheme in soft blues, white, and tan. I’m making seashell ornaments and tree topiaries. And, of course I needed some Beachy Coastal Christmas prints to place around the house.
If you’re a beach lover like me and your Christmas could use a little extra warmth, here are some prints you can display in your home.
You’ll find more prints available in the Finding Time To Fly Shop.
This Seas and Greetings print is free to download and print.
It would look great in a foyer area welcoming guests into your home.
This Warm Wishes horizontal print is available in 2 sizes. I’m using this print in my kitchen next to a Hot Chocolate Bar I’ve set up for the kids.
I keep a few picture frames around our house in various sizes especially to display Bible verses, inspirational quotes, or subway art for the changing seasons and holidays. I like to keep some plain black and white frames as well as decorative frames with colors and interesting shapes that coordinate with my decor.
Fancy and unique picture frames can be expensive, but you don’t have to spend a lot of money on them. Here are a few of my favorite places to buy frames at discounted prices:
- thrift stores,
- discount stores like TJ Maxx, Ross, and Marshall’s,
- Walmart and Target,
- Amazon (here’s a nice 8×10 black frame),
- craft stores like Hobby Lobby, JoAnn’s and Michael’s.
Don’t forget to check the clearance sections in these stores. Picture frames are quick and easy to spray paint, so don’t overlook a color or finish that doesn’t match your decor.
