When aiming for that perfect pitcher of pink moscato sangria, selecting the right ingredients is key. You’ll need fresh, quality fruit like strawberries and citrus fruit. I chose a Blood Orange because of its pink flesh to emphasize our pink drink. Here are the ingredients you’ll need for this delightful concoction:

  • 2 bottles of Pink Moscato
  • 3/4 cup of Green Apple Vodka
  • 3/4 cup of Sugar
  • 1 Pink Grapefruit
  • 1 Honey Crisp Apple
  • 1 Blood Orange
  • 5 Strawberries
  • club soda or lemon lime soda (optional)

These ingredients compliment the pink Moscato perfectly, creating a delicious refreshment with vibrant citrus flavors and a smooth finish. For a touch of fizz, adding club soda or hard seltzer is a fantastic option, enhancing the texture and taste even further.

Step-by-Step Guide to Your Best Sangria Cocktail

  1. Begin by pouring 3/4 cup of Green Apple Vodka into a large pitcher to inject a vibrant twist, complementing the citrus flavors of our chosen fruits.
  2. Stir in 3/4 cup of Sugar, refining the blend’s sweetness to perfection, creating that delicious refreshment you crave on a sunny day.
  3. Add 1 bottle of Pink Moscato and stir until the sugar is dissolved. This sweet wine, made from the muscat grape, is the soul of your pink sangria, setting a delightful base with notes of peach.
  4. Insert sliced Pink Grapefruit, Honey Crisp Apple, Blood Orange, and fresh Strawberries, marrying the citrus and sweet for a truly flavorful blend of Moscato and fruits.
  5. Fill the pitcher to the top with the remaining bottle of Pink Moscato.
  6. Chill the mixture thoroughly, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully. I like to make this 24-48 hours ahead of serving. This pause ensures a smooth finish that’s both inviting and thrilling to the palate.
  7. Before serving, top off with Lemon Lime Soda, Club Soda, or Hard Seltzer, adding that effervescent fizz that elevates your easy sangria recipe from delightful to sensational.
  8. Invite your senses to lead the way; adjust the portions to taste, experimenting until your pitcher of Pink Moscato Sangria resonates with your ideal symphony of sweetness and zest.

Variations for Making Pink Sangria

  • Use a blend of sweet white wine and sweet red wine to achieve the pink color instead of Pink Moscato.
  • Try other flavors of vodka such as orange or vanilla.
  • Use different fruits such as grapes, pineapple, mango, kiwi, or blueberries.
  • Add a little fresh ginger for a kick.
  • Instead of vodka, use brandy to mix into your sangria.
