Red White and Blue Patriotic Charcuterie Board

Celebrate all the patriotic holidays with this simple to make Red White and Blue Charcuterie board with sweet and savory foods.

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 10 Strawberries
  • White chocolate melts
  • Blue Sprinkles
  • 1 sleeve White crackers
  • 1 block White cheddar cheese
  • 1 roll Summer sausage
  • 1 package White chocolate covered pretzels
  • ¼ cup Blueberries
  • 1 package Cherry Twizzlers Bites
  • 1 slice Watermelon

Instructions
 

  • Start by preparing the strawberries. Wash strawberries and pat them dry. Dip into melted white chocolate (leaving about 1/3 of the strawberry exposed), then dip into blue sprinkles (leaving about half of the white chocolate exposed). Lay on parchment paper and allow to harden.
  • Prepare the watermelon by cutting some star shapes from slices of watermelon.
  • Arrange the strawberries in a half circle shape around the right side of he charcuterie board.
  • On the left side of the charcuterie board, lay white crackers, white cheese, and red salami or summer sausage alternating and repeating the pattern until you’ve outlined a little over half of your board.
  • Next place a handful of the white chocolate pretzels, Twizzlers Bites, and blueberries inside the circle of crackers and strawberries. Leave some space in the center.
  • Fill in the center space with the star shaped watermelon pieces.
  • Admire, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Other savory elements to include in your red, white and blue charcuterie board: cherry tomatoes, cheese sticks, pepperoni slices, blue tortilla chips, club crackers, blue cheese, pistachio nuts in the shell, cashews or other lite colored nuts.
  • Use additional sweet foods such as marshmallows, M&Ms (in red, white, and blue), raspberries, red grapes, blackberries, banana chips, star shaped sugar cookies, or mini cupcakes.
  • To serve a larger crowd make a larger board or several small ones to place around the room for easy access.
