Boneless Country Style Pork Ribs in the Electric Skillet
Melisha Kreppein
Ribs on a weeknight is possible! Preparing Boneless Country Style Pork Ribs in an electric skillet greatly reduces the cooking time, making them a great option for an easy weeknight dinner.
Season the top side of the country ribs with ground ginger and seasoned salt. Add onion powder and garlic powder for more flavor.
Add 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil into the electric skillet and heat to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place ribs seasoned side down in a single layer into the hot oil. While they are searing, season the other side of the ribs. Continue turning, seasoning, and searing until you have a good sear on all sides of the ribs.
Pour the Dale’s Sauce over the ribs, then reduce the heat to 250 degrees Fahrenheit and place the lid on the electric skillet. If using liquid smoke, add it now.
Allow to cook for 10 minutes, then turn the ribs over.
Reduce the heat to 200 degrees Fahrenheit, cover, and allow to cook for 20 more minutes. Check after 10 minutes to make sure there is still some liquid in the electric skillet. If not, add 1/2 cup of water or beef broth, then continue to cook to an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.
Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving with your favorite barbecue sauce.

Other Ways to Cook Boneless Country-Style Ribs
Oven roasting – Season as desired. Place on a baking sheet or in a shallow baking dish and cover with aluminum foil. Bake in a 325-degree F oven for 2 hours.
Grilling – Season as desired. Heat the grill to around 400 degrees F and sear the meat on all sides. Remove from the grill and place in an aluminum pan. Add some kind of moisture like Dale’s Sauce or your favorite barbecue sauce. Cover with aluminum foil and cook in a 300-degree F grill for 1 hour.
Crock Pot – Cut an onion into large chunks and place in the bottom of a crock pot. Season ribs as desired and add to the crock pot. Pour in a can of Dr. Pepper or Coca-Cola. (Trust me on this!) Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 6-7 hours. (Here’s another Slow Cooker Coca-Cola Pulled Pork recipe you’ll love!)
