Lipton French Onion Meatloaf Recipe with Caramelized Onion Glaze

This Lipton French Onion Meatloaf is a flavorful twist on a classic comfort food dinner. Made with ground beef, dry onion soup mix, and simple pantry ingredients, this moist and tender meatloaf is topped with a rich caramelized onion glaze for extra savory flavor. Easy to prepare and perfect for busy weeknights or Sunday dinner, this hearty meal is one the whole family will love.
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease or line a loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, eggs, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, cheese, diced onion, parsley, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
Press the meatloaf mixture gently into the loaf pan. Bake for 40 minutes in a preheated oven.
While the meatloaf bakes, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Add sliced onions and sugar and cook until deeply golden, about 10 to 12 minutes.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, broth, and ketchup. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
Spoon the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
Return to the oven and bake another 15 to 20 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
