Italian Pinwheels Recipe for Parties, Lunches, and Snacks
Melisha Kreppein
These easy Italian Pinwheels are filled with a creamy homemade Italian herb cream cheese spread, deli ham, crisp romaine lettuce, and juicy Roma tomatoes, all rolled in soft flour tortillas and sliced into bite-sized pinwheels. Ready in just 15 minutes, they're a perfect make-ahead appetizer for parties, baby showers, bridal showers, game day, or an easy lunch. Fresh, flavorful, and always a crowd favorite!
In a small bowl, stir together the softened cream cheese, olive oil, oregano, chopped fresh dill, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
Lay both tortillas flat on a clean work surface. Divide the Italian cream cheese spread evenly between the tortillas and spread it all the way to the edges.
Sprinkle the shredded romaine evenly over both tortillas. Arrange the thin tomato slices in a single layer over the lettuce.
Layer the ham evenly over the tomatoes.
Starting at one edge, roll each tortilla up as tightly as possible into a log. Insert toothpicks about every inch to help hold the roll together. Using a sharp serrated knife, slice between the toothpicks into 1-inch pinwheels.
Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
