Big Mac Salad Recipe: A Healthier Twist on a Fast-Food Favorite
Melisha Kreppein
This Big Mac Salad Recipe transforms the flavors of a classic Big Mac burger into a low-carb, hearty salad made with crisp lettuce, juicy ground beef, cheddar cheese, dill pickles, and homemade special sauce.
Make the Special Sauce: In a small bowl, mix all the Big Mac sauce ingredients until smooth. Cover and chill in the fridge while you prep everything else. Toast sesame seeds and set aside.
Cook the Beef: Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook until browned and no longer pink. Drain excess grease. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce salt, and pepper, and cook another 1 minute. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Assemble the Salad: In a large bowl, layer chopped iceberg lettuce or romaine lettuce, cooked ground beef, dill pickles, cherry tomatoes, diced onion, and cheddar cheese. Drizzle with the special sauce and gently toss to combine. Sprinkle with sesame seeds for that authentic Big Mac burger touch.
