Or you can prepare it quickly in the morning with plenty of time to clean up and make coffee while it’s baking. It is hearty, filling, delicious and simple to make.

Ingredients

1 can Refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls
2 Tbs Butter, melted
3 Eggs
1/4 cup Heavy Cream
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 cup Maple Syrup
1/4 cup Pecans (optional)

Preheat oven to 375. Pour melted butter into a 9×13 baking dish. Open and separate cinnamon rolls, and set the icing aside for later. Use kitchen scissors or a knife to cut each roll into 8 pieces. Place in buttered dish.

Beat eggs, add cream, cinnamon, and vanilla. Mix until well blended then pour over rolls.

  1. Hi! I was wondering if you could add apples to this recipe ? I don’t have the apple pie filling but I have apples to use?

    1. I think apples would be a great addition to this recipe! However, I don’t think they would cook completely if you added them in without cooking them first. I would recommend dicing up the apple and cooking it a little in a frying pan or in the microwave a couple of minutes to soften it a bit.
