35 Family Friendly Christmas Movies to Watch Now
Searching for some Christmas movies to add to your collection? Here are 35 family friendly Christmas movies to consider!
You’ve gathered the entire family together for the evening to watch a Christmas movie. What you didn’t count on was the arguing over which movie to watch. The older kids don’t want to watch “little kid” movies, and Mom and Dad would love a classic. Here’a a list that can save your evening. Below are 30 Family Friendly Christmas Movies. They are all rated PG, G or not rated at all because they were originally made for TV. I’ll bet there are a few on this list you’ve never seen!
This list of Family Friendly Christmas Movies includes classics, made for TV specials, and newer movies as well. Sure, you can stream a lot of these movies. However, it can take a while to find which streaming service is playing which movie. I like to keep a DVD of our family’s favorite Christmas movies. It really makes selecting that family night movie a lot quicker and simpler.
You may be thinking, “I don’t even have a DVD player anymore.” Did you know most gaming consoles play DVDs or Blue-ray DVDs? Since we don’t play DVDs very often, we use the PS5 console in our living room to play our Christmas DVDs. Gradually add to your Christmas movie collection by purchasing a couple of movies each year. Christmas DVDs make great gifts, too!
There are WAY more than 35 Christmas movies! My goal here is to list family-friendly options that you can all enjoy together. So, grab a cup of hot chocolate, pop some popcorn, and enjoy a family movie night together!
